Carlene grew up in the Cook Islands before relocating to Mount Isa with her family in 2010. She later completed her schooling in Townsville before returning to Mount Isa, where she began her career in Property Management. Carlene then transitioned into the role of PA to the General Manager at Glencore Mount Isa Mines, gaining extensive experience in a fast-paced environment where attention detail, time management, and the ability to prioritise competing demands were essential.
As Project Assistant, Carlene’s role involves working with the Project Managers to ensure that project delivery occurs on time with updates and results being clearly communicated to the client. Carlene takes pride in her ability to identify opportunities for improvement, maintain high standards of accuracy, and support teams in achieving their objectives.
When not at work Carlene enjoys spending quality time with her family and making the most of every opportunity to travel and experience new places.
